HOW YOU CAN HELP

HeARTS is dedicated to healing, inspiring and empowering children facing life challenges by providing innovative music and arts-based programs, education and therapy opportunities. Our services are FREE to children who qualify. There is no charge to a child, family, partner site, or service provider. HeARTS relies on the generosity from the community to make our programs successful and to enhance the lives of children and youth facing adversities. HeARTS patrons include individuals and families, foundations, small businesses, large corporations, and a wide range of community leaders. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference in the life of a child.

There are many ways you can help.

Make a Monetary Donation

Your monetary gift allows HeARTS to continue to provide healing experiences in the visual, performing, and literary arts to children and families facing life challenges.

To make an online tax-deductible donation through Paypal, click here and send a payment to heartsgivinghope@gmail.com, or you can e-mail us if you prefer to send a check.

HeARTS Giving Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed under the law.

Amazon Smile

Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice.  AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.  You can just shop at smile.amazon.com and select Hearts Giving Hope as your charity of choice!

Facebook Donations / Birthday Events

Facebook supports charities like ours through donation buttons and online birthday events. If you prefer to give a donation to charity in lieu of birthday gifts, these fundraisers are a great way to support. Just select our organization, Hearts Giving Hope Foundation as your charity of choice!

In-Kind Giving

You can help HeARTS reduce its operating expenses by contributing items that would normally have to be purchased, such as art supplies, musical instruments, and basic office supplies.

Planned Giving

Leave a legacy of hope and healing for future generations of children while enjoying the many benefits of tax-wise charitable strategies.

Become a Corporate Partner

HeARTS relies on the support of the corporate community to help provide high quality experiences to children. Your business can support HeARTS by investing in a cause marketing opportunity or becoming a sponsor of one of HeARTS special events.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations support non-profit organizations by matching employee contributions, either in full or at a specified percentage. These matching gifts can provide financial support to HeARTS, at no additional cost to the employee. Ask your company if they have a matching gift program.

Become a Volunteer

HeARTS relies on the generosity of volunteers from all over Los Angeles and Orange Counties to achieve its goal of helping to enhance the lives of children and youth facing adversities through music and arts programs. Volunteers' love and creativity bring transformational healing to these children. HeARTS is comprised of volunteers from all walks of life who possess a great variety of skills. Artistic ability or background is encouraged but not required to volunteer.

There is an initial interview and comprehensive training for all those interested in volunteering. This process helps guide our volunteers through the organization and their role in supporting and making a difference in the life of a child.

Currently, HeARTS needs volunteers in several areas to help with its operations:

• Art Therapists
• Music Therapists
• Special Events (Community Events/Fundraisers)
• Graphic Design
• Marketing/PR
• Program Coordination/Planning
• Administrative/Office Support
• Community Outreach (Recruitment)

For the protection of the children and organizations we serve, volunteers will be asked to fill out an application and go through a screening process which may include a background check.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Karene Cargill at heartsgivinghope@gmail.com.
